When we decided to visit England this year, Brighton was at the top of our list. We had seen lots of dreamy photos of this town, so it was a must! I have to tell you we were not disappointed. We were able to take advantage of the warmest, sunniest autumn day, and you know how important weather is in creating an impression. The town is charming (although a bit odd at times), and we enjoyed strolling along the rocky beach, eating huge meringues and fish&chips to complete the experience. My only regret is not going on the rides on Brighton Pier. Postcard-perfect!

We'd been dreaming of a photoshoot inspired by Russian dolls. We admit, we might have been influenced by the amazing Red Valentino collections, that continue to amaze us season after season. The Japanese Garden proved to be the perfect backdrop for this session. We rarely have the opportunity to be photographed together (as you know, we usually take each other's photos), so we jumped at the occasion when we heard our friend Vlad was available. You might remember other photos he took of us. Hope you enjoy the post (probably the last one featuring an autumn landscape, before the long, dark winter arrives).

I will make no excuses for my following Thor references and those of you who did not see the movie beware because there will be some major spoilers on the way. Let's begin by outlining how awesome the movie was, ignoring of course the part with Charing Cross underground, that was completely unnecessary (there are more than 3 stations to Greenwich, more like 30). Me and Sandra had some major groupie moments in the movie theatre, like gasping when Loki was stabbed, or keeping our fingers crossed throughout the end of the movie praying: "let him not be dead!". And I am not even mentioning the cameo part, when people around us probably thought we were out of our minds because we started laughing hysterically.
Ok, now getting back to my post. At first I did not intend to publish these photos, mostly because I don't necessarily consider them outfit post material, but more as a fun tourist-like memory. All of that, kind of changed after I saw the movie, because apart from the beautiful architecture I knew there was something else that attracted me to this place: the Ninth Doctor and Thor's epic battle, of course.

About a month ago we started our styling collaboration with the wonderful team behind Andrei Ivan Photography. This project started as a challenge for us, being in fact our first time not behind the camera, but turned out to be a beautiful experience and so dear to us. We had the best weather, in fact one of the warmest days of autumn, a stunning model, the cutest dog and the best team of professionals we could have come across.
