Halloween preparations

Today and tomorrow I'm going to be very busy preparing decorations for Halloween, taking photos and trying to find some accessories for my costume. I'm really excited. In the meantime, enjoy this little animation I made.

I miss you...

I came up with the idea for this photoshoot while thinking about Halloween and what costume I'm going to wear this year. I've had this amazing vintage dress for a while now, and I've been wanting to take some pictures with me wearing it. This was the perfect opportunity to do so. Also, as someone pointed out, it seems that I look like I could be one of the characters from the Blink 182 I Miss you video (which I absolutely adore, and I was obsessed with when it first came out). However, I don't think this is going to be my Halloween outfit, afterall. Enjoy the pictures, they're taken by Eve :).

Et s`il fallait le faire

Last week we went to the Village Museum  (yes, I finally got my amazing new camera and this was he first opportunity to test it). We also wanted to take advantage of the fact that it was the Japanese Culture Weekend. Unfortunately, we arrived quite late, but Eve was lucky enough to be the last person to take part in the Ikebana lesson.

I just had to be photographed holding a kitty...again:

 

The colours and the light were just perfect. I have no words to describe how much I love this season...

Nobody likes you when you're 23

Last weekend I celebrated my 23rd anniversary, and I was wondering if this year I'd be able to top last year's birthday, which was absolutely perfect. Then, I had my few seconds of "fame" (oh!, what wonderful seconds those were). We went to a gig of one of my all time favourite Romanian bands, AB4. My friends asked them to surprise me and they sang Happy Birthday to me. It was amaaaazing!
Anyway, this year, my birthday turned out to be just a little get together with some close friends. Lovely, nonetheless. The theme of the party was 'Candy Disco'. That's the explanation for the overload of sweets and sequins.

Tim Walker's Russian Dolls

Tim Walker + Karlie Kloss + Russian Doll motif = Perfection. There's no other way to describe it. Tim Walker's a magician, who creates fantasy worlds for us to enjoy. This time he was inspired by Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum.  My favourite photographer and my favourite model. I just wish I could get my hands on this issue of Vogue UK.
