Black Holes and Revelations

Hi everyone! I wish I could say I'm back, but that wouldn't be true. I've been stuck in the hospital for a week already, and it seems I'll have to stay here for a few more days. Sorry for the lack of posting, but as you can imagine, I haven't been able to take new photos because of my medical condition. Plus, a week ago my laptop broke. Fortunately, in the meantime I received another one as a present from my parents.

So yeah, now I'm sitting in my hospital bed , dreaming of LFW and virtually creating outfits for spring. It is SO bad having to wear only pajamas for so many days.. i'm one step away from asking someone to bring me some pretty clothes and take pics of me here :)).

Anyway, I figured I should post some pics from a couple of weeks ago. I dreamed of owning this dress ever since I first saw it. And I was so happy to receive it for my birthday from my bf. Galaxy print all the way!!! I absolutely adore it and I just know I'll be wearing it a lot in the future.

Wasting all my time

The weather outside is just terrible, cold and it's raining.

So the mood today involves staying inside, drinking hot chocolate, watching movies and dreaming about spring outfits.

Orange and mint

Hi! I don't have many things to say this time. I have a cold and I'm staying at home, not being able to take advantage of the sunny days to take photos :(. Well, at least I can drink tons of tea and watch movies.

These pics were taken a few days ago. It's quite a simple outfit, I wore it because I really had to run around town, and I needed to dress warm and comfortable. The knee high boots are new, they're the first ones I've ever bought in this style. Hated them at first, but they're kind of growing on me.

I know I'm quite matchy-matchy, but I adore this shade of minty green.

 

I absolutely adore this labradorite pendant, the photos don't do it justice :P.

Another detail I love: the buttons on this vintage sweater I have from my grandma- they are round and golden glittery. I'm also wearing the flower accessory seen here.

And this cute little furball is the love of my life. Meet Mitsi, my boyfriend's kitty. We match, don't we? And no, she wasn't hurt during this photoshoot. Is it weird to wish I had her eye colour? :P

This is the calm before the storm

Hello, hello, I'm back!

I know, I've been a horrible person for not posting anything in a while. Blame the lazy mood, bloody cold weather, boring exams...but that is all over now (well except for the weather i guess... Lady Spring if u can hear me please come earlier!).

Anyway, here's some things I got online during my "exam days" :

Snow Queen

 Well, that's a little too much to say about myself, but for this photoshoot I wanted to bring back a fraction of the innocence of childhood, with its tales of magical lands and creatures, pure smiles and whole-hearted happiness. Plus, I really wanted to try a little bit of white on white, plus a touch of gold (even if it's just a paper crown).

 


So if you want to feel like a child again, take some time and cuddle in bed, look at old photographs, read tales and eat a cookie (or any other goodies that remind you of childhood). And try to remember that life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale, as Hans Christian Andersen thought.

Do you sometimes allow your inner child to come out to play?
