Yesterday was cupcake making day. Well not all day, but it did take me longer than I expected, missing mixer components and all :)). It was a lot of fun though, I finally got to make use of those cute little sprinkles from LOLA's cupcakes. Click for tons of sweet pics.
Red, green and blue with a flower on top

As we mentioned, here's a little post with the stuff we bought from H&M on Thursday night. Of course we had to buy what appears to be the new IT item for Bucharest fashionistas, the red blazer. Yeah we both got it, now we just have to figure out how to customize it so it doesn't look like we and half of the city are wearing uniforms :))

H&M Preview Shopping Party

Yesterday evening we had the wonderful and unexpected opportunity to attend the H&M Preview Party. What was also unexpected were the glam and glitz, red carpet and all. Here are a few of the pictures we took.

This is by far the greatest fashion ed for spring, in my opinion. So amazingly beautiful, don't you agree?
A touch of pink

No. My crazy hair colour isn't going to stop me from wearing neon shades this spring. Although I guess no fluo yellow for me anytime soon :(
The shirt is the newest addition to my sheer blouse collection (I sense an obsession here). I'd love to have one in every colour just because i like how they feel against the skin.
Atmosphere sheer blouse, Next boots, F&F bag. The earrings are DIY (I've been dying to make a pair like this and I'm sure I'll make them in other colours as well.). What do you think about tassels as accessories?
P.S: What are your spring '11 fashion obsessions? Ok, pick just one :D

V for Vintage Fair - Flower Power
Sunday, March 13, 2011
As we all know, this spring, everything in the fashion world revolves around colors, flowers, bold prints and beautiful retro clothes. All of these were present in abundance at the V for Vintage Fair - Flower Power edition. We were happy to attend this event (although it was a little overwhelming - there were sooo many people). We managed to snap a few detail shots in order to capture the atmosphere at the fair.

The highlight of the day was definitely meeting lovely fellow bloggers (most of them for the first time).

Us with Alice and Laura. We got to spend the entire afternoon with her and we must say we had a great time. You can see some extra pics on Laura's blog.

Fab trio: Denisa, Costin and Alice .
It was so awesome meeting all of them (we also met the lovely Ioana - Fashezine and chatted for a few minutes, not quite enough :P). So we are really looking forward to seeing them again, and other bloggers as well.
We have some more pictures from yesterday (more detailed ones of our outfits) that are going to be posted very very soon.

I hope you don't mind these indoor pictures. I just wanted to show you some recent acquisitions and it's not really warm enough outside for outfit ph otos. So I had to choose between not posting and taking pics inside.

I'm wearing Zara leggings, Imitz top, Toshop corset bra, F21 sunglasses, New Look pumps (yes, I bought heels - shock!) and Miu Miu bag.
I bought the bag online and it was really cheap. It didn't look that good, though. So I had it reconditioned and I also had the strap removed to give it a more modern look - I can use it as a clutch now. What do you think about it?
Oh, and I almost forgot about the most important thing in this post:

I wish I could say I baked this awesomely delicious thing but I just decorated it. I love these little hearts, aren't they the cutest?

S. vs. E. part 2
Thursday, March 3, 2011
It's finally the moment for the second S. vs. E. First edition here .
I was (obviously) inspired by the much coveted Jil Sander SS11 collection. I chose a structured maxi skirt in a bold color - it was handmade by my lovely aunt, for my birthday. And I thought I'd go all the way with the neon lipstick and the simple updo. All I need now is one of those "plastic bags", as seen on the runway :P.

We decided to pick a white T-shirt and include it in outfits that are ready for spring '11. The white T-shirt must be present in any girl's wardrobe as it can be used in a variety of outfits. You cand dress it up or down, wear it with a pair of jeans and a cardigan or with a skirt and blazer and the combinations don't stop here. This particular one is from H&M, and I love the little bow details at the neckline, very cute and girly.

I never thought I could pull off this lip color, but it actually looks good, and I think I might use it more often this spring.
This time E is the edgy one: diy denim shorts, lace up boots, those amazing suspender tights, all toned down a little bit with the floral print cardigan.
Hope you're inspired by our take on the white T-shirt. We'd love to know your opinions on this one!

PS: Thank you all for the comments and support. After 10 days in hospital, I'm finally feeling better and I'm looking forward to warmer weather so I can go out and take beautiful photos to share with you.
