Day 4 in Budapest came as a day of relaxation after the crazy schedule we had the previous days (don't forget all the jumping and screaming from the night before all thanks to Jared Leto :)) ). The blessing - oh, and what a true blessing it was- came from the thermal baths. There you can find everything your heart desires, from fountains to water slides and even a wave pool.
Was it a Dream? 30 Seconds to Mars live @ Sziget
Monday, August 29, 2011
It's time for another Budapest post. Even though we didn't stay that long, we did take lots of photos and we kind of felt the urge of sharing them with you guys. This time it's all about the moment we'll always remember as "the night we saw Jared Leto live" :)).
Back in the Shop - New Look VIP Party

Strangers in a Strange Land
Tuesday, August 23, 2011
Hello darlings,
So today's post is all about food and yummy stuff we came across in our third day in Budapest. First of all, we went to the Central Market Hall where you could find everything from Hungarian paprika powder, pick salami, dried fruits to Hungarian embroidery, white peasant shirts and other art and craft products.
Around the Fur - Budapest Zoo
Sunday, August 21, 2011
Really, we just had to do this post! We really really love animals (I even dreamed to study nature/ be a wildlife photographer as I was watching all the Animal Planet/Nat Geo documentaries when I was younger). Unfortunately, the closest we can get to wildlife today is at the Zoo. And if it's a beautiful Zoo, like the Budapest one, it's all for the best. So we played around a little and pretended to be nature photographers and tried to capture as many great shots as we could :). We were extremely thrilled and acted like little kids, sounding something along these lines: "Wow look at this, look at that ! Let's stalk the lemurs...Oh my God this one looks exactly like King Julien." Oh well..you get the point. Hope you will enjoy :)
My own summer - Budapest Day 2
Friday, August 19, 2011
So, the second day was a busy one indeed. We woke up really early and we took the subway to the north-eastern part of Pesta to visit the Museum of Fine Arts where we got the chance to see some beautiful paintings by our favorite impressionists painters (Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir).
Let the record play! - Budapest Day 1

Here are the first snapshots of our short and beautiful trip to Budapest. We arrived at about 9 o'clock in the morning, after an exhausting train ride that we would like to erase from our memories.

Now the World
Friday, August 12, 2011

Here are a few more pictures from the photoshoot with our friend Vlad, at Mogosoaia. I envisioned a kind of nomadic vibe, with the galaxy print dress, messy hair and crystal jewelry. The sunset light was perfect, contributing to the somewhat ethereal atmosphere. And I feel that the lyrics are really appropriate in this context.

Summer I painted, a scene that lit the stars for me,
Said, "I can erase it for you dear."
That summer created, those words, that came to life in three,
They were denied by you.

Summer I laid down, below, the glitter adorned night
And silently sparkled, my own way.
Summer I laid down, by you, and shared my frail light,
You gave the dark to me.

I don't know if it's visible, but in this photo I have fine glitter on my hands.
Maxi dress from Oasis - also seen here, boots from Next, bag from a market in Turkey, Jewelry: Asos and random

Emerald City
Wednesday, August 10, 2011
Growing up, my favourite story used to be the Wizard of Oz. When I was very little I asked my grandparents to read it to me over and over again, and after I learned to read I found myself unable to let it go. One of the chapters that I loved most was the one in which Emerald City was described. I became fascinated with it and I created an extremely vivid mental image of that town. I could even see myself strolling down the streets, dressed in green from head to toe and wearing breathtaking emerald jewelry. So a few days ago, when I went to Parcul Circului (wearing a green dress, bag and ring) I realised I was almost living my childhood dream. The trees, the grass and the most beautiful water lily pond I've ever seen..all of these contributed to my little fantasy, making me feel al warm and fuzzy on the inside. Anyway, enough rambling, I will let you enjoy the pictures.

Bluebbery lavender cake
Saturday, August 6, 2011
As it is (or was?) lavender and blueberry season - and I absolutely adore both - I wanted to do some research on cake recipes based on these ingredients. I found this recipe here, and I decided to make a loaf cake, rather than muffins this time. Never had I imagined that it would turn out this amazing :). And it's incredibly easy to make!

Eve's 1st outfit - Vote Here !
Hello everyone! It's time to show you another little project we were involved in, thanks to the lovely girls from Divahair and Margotte. First of all we were invited to pick our favourite items from the Margotte site and think of two outfits, compatible with our style, in order to take part in a photoshoot. Our outfits (and those of the other participants: Dana, Manuella & Cristina) will be posted on Comunitatea Fashionistelor, and the girls who receive the most votes for the two outfits will be the winners. Fun, isn't it?
