V for Vintage - Rock 'n' roll Edition

Yesterday we attended another fashion&vintage fair: V for Vintage, the rock'n'roll edition. Of course we had to dress up for the occasion: while I chose a rockabilly style outfit, Eve went for a more modern approach. We spent a lovely autumn afternoon chatting with some of our blogger friends, took photos and tried to decide what prints to choose for our Luise Lotte brooches/ bows.

In sfârșit a venit și rândul meu să postez câteva imagini cu rochia La Chatterie ce poate fi câștigată la V for Vintage în acest weekend. Viziunea mea este puțin mai non-conformistă (mi-am permis acest lucru deoarece sunt ultima din seria de bloggerițe care au stilizat această piesă vestimentară). Am adăugat un sacou vintage, military-inspired, niste botine cu șiret și o pereche de mănuși din piele. Armele și casca de soldat sunt opționale :P.

Dupa cum deja bine stiti in acest weekend in cadrul targului V for Vintage aveti ocazia de a castiga acesta rochie neagra special realizata de Isabelle de la La Chatterie. Pentru a stiliza aceasta rochie m-am inspirat din stilul Old Hollywood : something like Ava Gardner meets Audrey Hepburn. Sper sa fie pe placul vostru.

Do you know any better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than having an absolutely amazing time with fabulous people? Yes we are talking about The Absolutely Fabulous Fair which took place yesterday. As usual we met with many of our blogger friends, bought some unique stuff, took colorful pictures and ate some dreamy muffins.

So today I am going to show you what i've been up to lately, apart from procrastinating a lot and having a "How I Met Your Mother" marathon (btw, Neil Patrick Harris is absolutely brilliant!). 

Last Sunday I met with the talented Alina aka Sohodoll to catch things up & take some photos. A little spoiler: the location is the ballet room of a theatre.

These are just some of the pics we took before the actual photoshoot, in order to show you what I wore that day.

Ulyana Sergeenko F/W 2011 lookbook

So today's post is all about the amazing Ulyana Sergeenko famous Russian photographer, style-icon and her incredible brand new first collection. She describes the look book for Fall/Winter 2011 as “an illustration of Soviet Vogue in the1950s”.

When we first laid our eyes on these photos we instantly fell in love: the make-up, the hair, the styling, the models, everything is in perfect harmony. She is a genius and a true inspiration.

The Blue Danube

We thought it was the time for individual posts, so there you have it. Me on the Danube bank in Budapest..it feels amazing to sit there, relax and just watch the river. I wish Bucharest was on the Danube, too. It would have been amazing, it's a completely different atmosphere having such a great river passing through your city. Not to mention all the amazing bridges, the floating restaurants and the formidable view...
