We finally got around to posting these images from a lovely party we attended last week, at the Oksana Hair Salon new location. The atmosphere was really nice, the girls working there are amazing, it seems like they have magic fingers..look at the wonders they manage to do with just hair. We were also happy to meet some of  our blogger friends and catch up on things.

The cover of another perfect wonder

26th of January, 2012. Weather forecast: snow, snow and more snow. Oh well, it happens when you're born in January..but it can definitely ruin your plans to wear a cute dress and suede boots :( . So what can a girl do? Start the morning with chocolate cake, then put on layers of black & pink, top everything with the craziest neon beanie (bf's) and come out to play in the snow. The fun didn't last too long though, it was too damn cold :P

What makes you smile ?

What made us smile today? Friendship, neon colours, golden accents, pom-poms, cats, instant photos, people staring at us while taking pics, and in this particular case, Koosalagoopagoop. Do you remember him? He was the first thing to come to mind when we laid our eyes on these adorable t-shirts from TinaR. Childish? Maybe. But also rainbow-coloured, funny, and with a huge pink heart that glows, hihi. That never fails to make us smile. Oh, will we ever grow up? Anyway, we'd love to know what makes you smile :) .

We've found the Room of Requirement

I wanted this post to be a tribute to the 5th book of the series, the one that i am currently re-re-reading. Call me crazy, but i never seem to get tired of them, everytime i read them, I still get chills and discover new stuff. Don't know why, maybe cuz there's still a part of me that will never grow up. Down our street

Don't know about you, but i'm kind of sick of this stupid weather. Ok, i get it, no snow for us, then let the damn spring come.

Taking this photos was a serious challenge: just imagine Sandra being all cozed up in fluffy layers and me running and jumping around trying not to freeze. But the art demands sacrifice, right? :)) and i just couldn't bare the thought of doing a bad presentation to my new skirt from Asos.

Isn't it just precious? Simply adore it and can't wait to wear it this spring :)

Sorry for the recent lack of posts, i've been lazy lately, enjoying the holidays, watching Sherlock (we all know that brainy is the new sexy) and reading young adults books ( because, hello, i can't read only Harry Potter over and over again).

Monday vintage inspiration

Because Mondays are generally not much fun, I decided to spice it up a bit and share with you some wonderful vintage fashion. These are photos from a 1973 issue of the French magazine Modes & Travaux, featuring some of the most interesting creations by well-known designers. Theese images hold a special place in my heart not just because they are beautiful, but also because this magazine (and a few more) belonged to my beloved grandmother. Summer dress in January

Yesterday we took advantage of yet another sunny day and Eve snapped a few pics of my outfit. I wore my thrifted mohair blend sweater that I absolutely adore for its uncommon shape and for the fact that it keeps me very very warm, my beach print dress and my new suede boots. These boots were my first Asos shoe order (I'm still quite reluctant to the idea of ordering shoes online, especially if I'm not certain about the sizing) and I'm really satisfied with them. They are comfortable, the quality is good and they go with everything.

2011 in images

Although last year didn't start in the best way (the first two months have been the worst I've ever had to go through), everything went much better afterwards. Both me and Eve lived some amazing experiences: we got our master's degrees, we visited Budapest and saw some of our all-time favourite bands (Good Charlotte & 30STM), we took photography (me) and styling (Eve) courses, we took part in countless events and most importantly we met a lot of great people and made new friends, thanks to our blog. We baked cupcakes, bought shoes, moved in new apartments, got jobs, lost jobs, won contests...Oh, and we also took tons of pics along the way, a small part of which you can see above.

Now we want to thank all our readers for their support, you're absolutely amazing, guys! We are looking forward to a new, different, better year :). Happy 2012!
