Edgy and fabulous..this was the definition of our outfit inspiration for the Absolutely Fabulous Fashion and Vintage Fair, spring edition. We decided to try something different and explore our rock and roll side (taking into consideration this spring's trends, of course). This time we didn't manage to take pics of the wonderful things on display at the fair, but you can check our previous posts about it, to get an image. We can assure you that the amount of pretty things was too ridiculously high for us (and our wallets) to deal with.

Yesterday I went for a walk downtown with my friend, Rodi. The weather was lovely an I must say that I'm absolutely thrilled when I discover new and interesting places, especially if they sell goodies. This time it was all about ice cream. Or even better, gelato. Creamy and delicious, and so many varieties to choose from. I tried matcha green tea & dark choco, yum, plus I found out that they have new flavours every day. I'm definitely going there more often. And yeah, the outfit..this is me being simple& casual, even though I don't like to be simple and casual very often :))

Ok, so this isn't exactly what I wore for St Patrick's. The truth is that i was so busy yesterday that I didn't manage to go out and have fun. But today was a different story. The city center was packed with people, so it was quite hard to find a quiet little spot for photos. And these damn shoes were killing my feet. Too bad 'cause they look so cute.

I just had to take advantage of the first days of spring, and what better place to use for a quick photo session than the river bank. Not that spectacular, but better than other locations around town. Also, I decided to wear my new favourite shirt, that I'm sure will be a wardrobe staple this spring. Oh, and not to forget about THE cape, I absolutely adore it, I've been wearing it a lot lately, just because it's so elegant a quite different and unexpected. I got it on sale, for 85% off..I couldn't believe my eyes when I came across it in the shop.

Girls and boys, welcome to the magical world of chocolate, the place where sweet dreams come true. Oh yes, it does exist and its name is Heidi Choco World.
When we first got the invitation to visit this nice place, we began imagining things like a chocolate-mixing room that looks like a huge garden, where everything is made out of candy, with a river of chocolate right in the middle, a nut-sorting room equipped with an army of trained squirrels that sort the good nuts from the bad. Last but not least we were expecting the hoards of Oompa-Loompas. Ok, we over did it with the last part, but what can we do..blame the 4 year olds inside.
Even though we didn't have all the above, we had lots and lots of chocolate and lovely people that shared with us the secrets of perfect chocolate making. We also met up with Denisa (and a few other lovely blogger girls) and had a blast making our own personalised goodies.

This is just a quick post to show you guys a really nice place we've been to last week. It's called Thomas Antiques and it is an antique shop/cafe situated in downtown Bucharest. We went there only a couple of times but we absolutely adored the vintage atmosphere. It's a joy and an adventure to discover every room, each one different and beautiful in its own way. Definitely a great way to spend an afternoon with your friends and a enjoy a cup of French Vanilla (our favourite).

Been thinking lately..is it all for nothing? All the struggle all the "brilliant" ideas...are just in vain. Maybe the timing isn't right or just is not meant to be. Stay true to yourself that's what a little voice inside my head always says, but how long will it be until i'll be fed up and say: screw it all?
