Ciao, ragazze!

Sunny days have arrived and they are here to stay, so why not pamper yourselves a little? Not sure how to do that? Well, here's our suggestion: call your friends, put on your most colorful outfits, find a place with a beautiful terrace, and last but not least order some goodies from the menu (don't forget the lemonade). And voilà: one whimsical afternoon to go.

That '70s Me

From the moment I set my eyes on this cute shirt from TinaR I knew I wanted to wear it in a '70s-inspired outfit, with a pair of flared jeans and some colorful platforms. So I grabbed my vintage sunnies, a magazine from that decade and since I was so on to this, I also used blue eyeshadow and braided my hair, for a complete look. I don't know, it may be the fact that I've been watching That '70s Show once again. The fashion in that sitcom may be good, but the jokes, oh, those are the best.

The World Looks Better Through Your Eyes

Tell me my darlings, how was your spring so far? Mine was kind of dull with extra hours at work, I didn't manage to do anything fun or even remotely interesting. The holidays passed in a second and i didn't even get the chance to read the first half of Hunger Games (no spoilers, please). I even failed to finish watching the second season of Downton Abbey and what bugs me the most is that I wasn't able to photograph the cherry blossoms this year. About my look, well, all i can say is that i am going through a light blue/minty faze lately. Enjoy!

Wallis Simpson, That Woman

Recently, both me and Eve watched W./E., you know, the film directed by Madonna, that has received quite a few unpleasant reviews (if we're to say the least). The movie tells the story of two women: Wallis Simpson, the American divorcee who became Duchess of Windsor, after marrying Prince Edward (he gave up the throne for her) and Wally Winthrop, a young married New Yorker in 1998 who has a strange obsession for the Duchess. Ok, this was just an introduction, I am not, by any means, going to talk about this second plot, as it was beyond weird and dull. Even the connection between the two stories was incredibly unpolished and there were more than few scenes that did not belong in this movie.

Pink jeans & rainy days

 I love rainy days, especially if it's not very cold. I also love traveling by train, painting my nails pink and the smell of tree blossoms in the muggy air. I love spending holidays with my family, laughing, reading and eating home-made cheesecake. I love tulips, old houses and I sometimes love wearing very simple outfits, like this one.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada f/w 2012/13 Fashion Show

En: Yesterday evening we had the amazing opportunity to attend another fashion show, this time of a famous international designer.  Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is a Spanish designer who began her fashion career in 1981 and is well-known for her quirky style and edgy approach to color and shape. I was a fan of her work before, but now even more so. The show was so much fun, the colours were breathtaking and every little detail was absolutely perfect, from the shoes to the make-up. Both me and Eve are now obsessed with the bags, the shoes and the sunglasses. And honestly now, who wouldn't want to spend the cold season wrapped in layers of pink, feathery goodness, neon tights and cozy sweaters with heart prints?

Ro: Aseară am avut din nou ocazia să participăm la o prezentare de modă, de data aceasta aparținând unui designer internațional de succes. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada este de origine spaniolă și este cunoscută în special datorită stilului său nonconformist și jocului cu forme și culori puternice.  Designerul s-a aflat pentru a doua oară în România, primul ei show în țara noastră având loc în 2009. Eram de mult timp fană a creațiilor Agatha Ruiz de la Prada (am pana și un fier de călcat roz cu inimioare, ce poartă semnătura ei), iar show-ul de aseară m-a determinat să o admir și mai mult. Prezentarea a fost foarte fun și super-colorată, modelele zîmbeau și se distrau, iar fiecare detaliu, de la pantofi până la machiaj a fost absolut perfect. Acum și eu și Eve suntem obsedate de poșetele transparente și de pantofii și ochelarii color-blocking. Serios, cine nu și-ar dori să petreacă sezonul rece îmbracată în straturi de material roz sau oranj, pulovere cu inimioare sau colanți în culori neon?

Andreea Tincu & Sense Fashion Shows

A couple of days ago we had the pleasure of attending the S/S 2012 Sense and the F/W 2012-2013 Andreea Tincu & Sense fashion shows. This was our second time attending such an event, the first time being the Avanpremiere Gala. We had a really enjoyable evening, the show was beautiful and we especially liked the fact that the runway was extremely well-lit, meaning that it was easy-peasy to take good photos (yes that's an important element).

To be Blue or not to be Blue?

I took this pictures two weeks ago and I got a really nasty cold afterwards. So I was in no mood to post anything, being M.I.A. from the internet zone and all. Sorry for that, guys ! No more, it's a promise. We have tons of surprises in store for you in the near future.
