Colour infusion

    

I've always thought that you can never have enough shoes, but lately it has been more of the: you can't have enough uncomfortable shoes. So, after a series of unfortunate events which included flats (especially flats), resulting in a sour ankle, the shoe gods have been good to me and helped me find this gorgeous babies and another couple of heavenly treats for my feet.

Wind beneath our wings

When we started this blog we never expected meeting so many wonderful people, with the same passion as ours. Everyday we are grateful for all the beautiful things that happen to us and we are still glad that this project keeps our friendship closer than ever. Soon, it's going to be almost 2 brilliant years of wonderful memories that we tried to share with you through our pictures.

Lady of the Flowers

As it is getting hotter and hotter, we are starting to grow tired of the concrete jungle and we are constantly trying to find alternative locations for our photos. This time, the Botanical Gardens in Bucharest seemed like a good idea. I had already planned an outfit (thought about it ever since I bought this lovely retro-inspired cropped top from the H&M WaterAid collection) and it seemed like this was the perfect place for the shooting. And it sure was.. as you can see, the print on my top matched the background, the lighting was gorgeous and the gardens were so peaceful and calm that it was a pleasure to escape from the noisy city, even if it was only for a couple of hours. 

1,2,3... June

It seems that the month of June has been great so far except the scorching temperatures, but that was to be expected. We decided to share with you some photos that depict our summer highlights so far. They include cactus blossoms, eating rhubarb for the first time ever, reading classic novels in e-book format, visiting a lovely place and meeting someone whom we admire a lot, celebrating birthdays (lots of Gemini family members& friends) and of course, adding things to our summer essentials. And what is more, we had a couple of amazing collaborations with two of our lovely blogger friends.

Boyfriend jeans, summer style

 Today I'm going to tell you about a few things I learned recently:
- (my) boyfriend('s) jeans are awesome: super comfy and versatile, great for casual outfits and they are the perfect shade of summery blue;
- pale blue and solar yellow are a match made in fashion heaven;
- I have a new obsession for silk tops and stacked bangles;
- white plimsolls are a definite no-no in Bucharest.. got them super dirty and I only wore them twice;
- statement necklaces: why buy when you can DIY;
- Hello Kitty hankies..don't even get me started :)))
