This is the second part of our Lee Cooper story. This time the statement piece, the jeans, is part of an outfit that reflects our own individual style, with retro and hippie elements. We had a lot of fun shooting these pics as you guys can see. We even caught the attention of a little black furball.
Let's Talk About Fashion - Nissa
Saturday, July 28, 2012

The other days, together with fellow Romanian Bloggers, I got to take part in an enchanting experience thanks to the Nissa brand. If you didn't know this by now, let me tell you that this is a Romanian brand with almost 20 years experience in the field. Apart from having fun trying on clothes, we also found out more about the design and production process. All in all their stores are simply amazing, with beautiful clothes, gorgeous fabrics, and don't let me get started on the accessories, it is literally every girl's dream. The kids section is like a mini version of the ladies collection, perfect for your little princess back home.
Enjoy and let the pictures tell you the rest of the story!
The Lee Cooper Project - Casual Stripes
Wednesday, July 25, 2012

As we received great feedback on our last post, we are now delivering the promised sequel. First part of our Lee Cooper Project, consisting of three different interpretations of a Lee Cooper item. My item of choice is this pair of boyfriend-cut jeans *now I don't have to steal my bf's jeans anymore*. I loved the cut, the color, the fit and I figured they are incredibly versatile. That also applies to Eve's classic pair of straight leg, black jeans. This time our looks are stripey, casual & comfortable. Certainly, we each added our personal touch: while I went for a more classic look, with the loafers, the sunglasses and the golden details, Eve preferred a simple sporty look, with neon accents. A great idea for casual Fridays, shopping or weekend promenades.
Ivy and Lace
Monday, July 16, 2012
Unfortunately, I don't have any interesting news to share with you today, I am just slowly melting away in the heat, dreaming of a vacation in a perfect location. Hopefully, my plans will come true very soon. In the meantime, me and Eve explored our hometown in search of new locations and stumbled upon this interesting-looking, ivy-covered building. And it kind of goes really well with my romantic outfit. I adore the dress, it's a present from my brother and I think that the tiny heart print and the peter-pan collar are so cute& dainty. How about you? I'd love to read about your summer holiday plans (real or ideal).
Weekend Brunch
Saturday, July 14, 2012

Today I figured that it's been a really long time since our last foodie post and I decided to upload the photos I took of my most recent culinary creations. This recipe is vegetarian and I think it's the perfect choice for a delicious weekend brunch. The round zucchini was an impulse buy (yes, I also buy food on impulse, as well as clothes), I thought it looked so cute on the supermarket shelf that I just had to take it home, without knowing how to cook it. After a bit of online research I decided to follow this recipe and adapt it a little, because all the other ones had meat or rice as ingredients and I really wanted something light & summery.
Life is like a Rollercoaster, baby!
Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Ok girls, so you've been delighted with the first part of our visit to the amusement park, modeled by Sandra (and her lovely retro outfit). Concerning my look, I've chosen pastel items with a small dose of neon because let's face it, they make one heck of a yummy combination. What better way to accessorize an amusement park outfit, than with a candy bag. Doesn't it look simply delicious? I'd been dreaming of a bag like this for some time until I finally found the perfect one.
My summer holiday essentials
Monday, July 9, 2012
Here is a list of my 2012 summer holiday essentials. As you can see, I have a slight obsession with 50's fashion and I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.
E.Thula Colour Infusion Fashion Show
Thursday, July 5, 2012

En: Yesterday evening we had the pleasure to attend the fashion show we were telling you about, Colour Infusion, Celebration of Summer and Happiness, by E.Thula. For her lovely collection, Sorina Banica was inspired by things like the American teen parties of the ’90s, Tim Walker's whimsical photos and Wes Anderson’s movies. Which is basically, a great part of the things we love. All those, plus a lot of glitter, confetti, cupcakes and cake pops, tiaras and ruffles, curly hair and colourful balloons, as you can see in the photos. It was a super lovely summer evening, that we got to spend on the rooftop, together with the girls.
Frills & Thrills
Monday, July 2, 2012

I'm still in a romantic and super dreamy mood, hence the outfit, location and most of all, the editing of these photos. Eve and I had been planning this visit to Terra Park for quite some time and since we are on a constant lookout for amazing locations, a few days ago we were finally able to go there and check out the atmosphere. You may not know this (i'm not sure if I've mentioned it before) but I am huge fan of amusement parks, theme parks and fairs. One of my favourite computer games when I was younger was Rollercoaster Tycoon (does anyone remember it?) and my passion grew stronger with time. Even the themes of my thesis and dissertation papers were based on my fascination for amusement parks. Until very recently, we didn't have any notable theme parks in Romania, but fortunately, this has changed.
