A Summer Escapade

Here are some pics I was planning on showing you for a while; they're from my short trip to the seaside. On my first day it was rather windy and slightly cold, so I decided to go for a walk instead of laying on the beach.  I wore my beloved red dress from Topshop and my Asos jelly sandals. The weather improved a lot in a matter of hours and in the next couple of days the heat was back in business.

Macarons T-shirt

En: You've probably read in our previous post about our collaboration with Tshirt-factory. After Eve, now it is my turn to present to you my lovely tee. I had already decided I'd love to have some kind of sweets printed on it and after lots of trials, involving donuts, cupcakes and macarons, I finally chose this design, which is actually one of my photos. I figured the powdered colors would look great on white and the tee would be perfect for dressing up or down.

De când am auzit de posibilitatea de a crea tricouri personalizate m-am tot gândit la un design potrivit pentru mine. Și ce aș fi putut alege dacă nu dulciuri: gogoși, cupcakes, macarons..ah, atâtea posibilități. Până la urmă am ales o fotografie de-a mea cu niste macarons pastelate, am selectat modelul de tricou (Continental N95) și în două zile am primit pachetul. Deja aveam o idee de outfit, iar tricoul cu macarons a picat la fix. Mi-a plăcut mult materialul, e fin, un pic transparent, iar imprimeul e de foarte bună calitate. Pentru mai multe modele de tricouri puteți intra pe site-ul tshirt-factory.

I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good

En: As most of you already know by now, I am a huge Harry Potter fan. So, as only a true fan would understand, I was longing for a HP-related t-shirt for a while. I tried making one myself, but from various reasons I had given up the thought. However, luck stroke when we got the chance to get in touch with the wonderful people at Tshirt-factory.  Apart from being super nice, they printed and deliverd our shirts in no time. The print looks exactly as the one I designed and I couldn't be happier and more proud with the result. So thanks a bunch you guys for this awesome job. And apart from having the coolest t-shirts in town, they also design some sick IPhone Skins and stickers.

Ro: Dragele noastre, de curând am avut plăcerea de a colabora cu cei de la Tshirt-factory și de a ne crea tricouri personalizate mult visate. Era mai mult decat evident ce urma să imi aleg (tricoul Sandrei este încă surpriză, no spoilers). Am fost plăcut impresionate de promptitudinea și calitatea produselor. Au tricouri realizate din bumbac organic, iar pe site puteți găsi numeroase alte modele și culori disponibile.Tot pe site am găsit cele mai drăguțe skin-uri de telefon. Preferatul nostru este Keep Calm And have a Cupcake, care este al vostru?

Sea & Sun & Fun

Ok, so this is the last set of photos from Croatia (of course I have a ton more, but it would've been impossible to post them all). These are from the last day spent there, before heading to Hungary , for three more days spent in on of my favourite cities, Budapest: check out the photos from last year if you want to know what I mean ;). The last  four days of my vacation were spent in lovely rural Romania and I cannot wait to show you some pics. Now back to this batch, there is not much to tell, except for the fact that it was the most fun I've ever had...I've always found underwater life&creatures fascinating, but seeing them up close in their natural habitat was awe-inspiring. I couldn't stop smiling and diving and photographing the weird little animals, I'm such a kid at heart.

Lee Cooper A/W 2012 Preview

Although I'm a few days late with this post, I had to share it with you. A while back we received an invitation to the Lee Cooper A/W 2012 Exclusive Preview Event, that took place on Tuesday. Unfortunately, Eve wasn't able to attend, but I was there to cover the event. A very pleasant one, if I might add. The usual super-fashionable crowd, tasty treats and the chance to take a look at the autumn collection before it hits the stores. Of course, the first thing to notice was the British vibe of it all, with the Union Jack prints everywhere. And I couldn't be more happy, as a fan of all things British. The collection itself comprises very functional, basic items, with a good dose of creativity. My favourites were the winter accessories and men's shirts. And the jeans, of course.

2012 Summer Holiday - Zadar

This post focuses on another amazing day I spent in Croatia, first at this beautiful, tranquil lagoon, and later in the Dalmatian town of Zadar. Oh, and believe it or not, earlier that day, before hitting the beach, we visited some incredible caves. Yes, caves. That's definitely my favourite thing about Croatia: the contrast between its natural wonders. In the morning you could be in the densely forested mountains, hiking and visiting caves and in a few hours your are basking in the sun and swimming in the clearest, most beautiful sea. Oh, the joy!

2012 Summer Holiday - Karlobag & Senj

The day we visited Karlobag and Senj was one of the highlights of the trip. First of all, it was the astonishing view of the Adriatic Sea, right after crossing the mountains, the overwhelming experience of the changing landscape (and climate), forests on the north side and Mediterranean scenery on the south side, all in about 20 km. On arriving to our beach destination I was happy to find a fig tree and eat a few delicious figs (the ripe ones were higher in the tree). Then it was the water.. the clearest and most beautiful I've ever seen, considering I had previously swum in the Black Sea only. I even took some underwater shots  and I think I'll upload them for a future post.

2012 Summer Holiday - Belgrade & Zagreb

Hello my lovely readers! I just came back home from a two-week journey with my family. First of all, I have to admit the fact that it was one of the best holidays I've ever had and I am certain I won't be forgetting it anytime soon. Anyway, I took tons of photos to make sure that won't happen. I am going to post some of them here, hoping you will enjoy seeing the places I visited, through my eyes (or better said, my camera lens).
