What is it with (my) birthdays and pink? It seems that for the last couple of years they have been pink-themed more or less deliberately. Maybe it's because as I grow older I feel the most pressing urge not to lose touch with my inner child. Well, whatever the explanation is and how I might feel about it, one thing is certain: I AM growing old. The proof: it appears that I need to wear glasses, as in real glasses, not only for fashion's sake, but also for my well-being. So you'll probably see them often around here.
