Hello bunnies! It's time for the first Hearabouts outfit post of 2013. For this one I was inspired by a runway show: Dsquared² F/W '12-'13 RTW. And honestly, what wasn't to like about the 60's prom theme, the layering, the cropped pants, the retro hats and make-up and all the costume jewelry? I've been dreaming for a long time to recreate an outfit from that show and it seems I had just the right ingredients for it. Certainly, the star of the outfit is the burgundy velvet mod hat...when I saw it in a vintage shop in Camden Market I knew it was meant to be mine, as I am a lover of quirky vintage accessories. And speaking of that, how amazing is the bejeweled snake bracelet? Another vintage market find from London. Anyway, I hope you like this outfit as much as I do :)
