A day in Brooklyn

This past weekend I got to spend a lovely day in Williamsburg, doing all sorts of fun stuff (in great company if I might add). The weather was absolutely perfect, so we took advantage and we just walked around & took photos. I also got to do some vintage shopping and I found the most amazing dress ever, but more about it in a future post. I’m very excited to show it to you.

Regarding the H&M dress I’m wearing in this post, I had been considering buying it for weeks before finally taking the plunge. I was undecided in regards to its practicality, however it was the design that convinced me: the open back, the extra long bell sleeves, the unusual length. I even like the fabric – I don’t usually go for knit dresses, but this one is very flattering. I’m sure it will be a staple piece in the months to come, as I can spice it up with different brooches, pretty racer back bras and casual or dressy shoes.
