Andreea Tincu & Sense Fashion Shows
A couple of days ago we had the pleasure of attending the S/S 2012 Sense and the F/W 2012-2013 Andreea Tincu & Sense fashion shows. This was our second time attending such an event, the first time being the Avanpremiere Gala
. We had a really enjoyable evening, the show was beautiful and we especially liked the fact that the runway was extremely well-lit, meaning that it was easy-peasy to take good photos (yes that’s an important element).
The first one on show was the Sense spring/summer collection, Color Game, abundant in playful color-blocks, with linear and dotty accents, inspired by the art of Morris Louis and color field painting. Of course, I liked the ’60s silhouettes, A-line dresses and minimalistic jackets, spiced up by the reinterpreted shoes and bags of the same decade.
The fall-winter Andreea Tincu & Sense collection, Nocturne no. 25, was focused on a more romantic silhouette and on the contrast between fabrics like wool and silk. The knits, varying from oversized to understated, were the main ingredient of the collection, creating a visual image of interlacing natural elements. The accessories were inspired by retro school girls and consisted of knee-high socks, berets, wool hats and oxford shoes.
After the show, we were all invited downstairs for cocktails, treats & mingling.
Speaking of cocktails, we must send out a big thank you to Cosmina & Chambord for the invitation.
We’d love to read your opinions about the collections.
Oh, and two more days until our TinaR giveaway
ends. We’re waiting for more lovely stories 🙂
