Echoes of the past
Have you ever dreamed of closing your eyes and being able to travel back in time, in an era when everything and anything was elegant and spectacular? Well we have, quite recently as a matter of fact, last week to be more precise. It happened to us while we were on a short holiday “au bord de la mer”. We were enjoying a walk and we ended up in front of the famous Casino in Constanța. We’ve been here before, almost 3 years ago when we started this blog, and unfortunately nothing has changed. Not for the better, at least.
It is really sad to see a majestic piece of history being left to decay and disappear. So we tried to imagine what it was like in its glorious years, a place of decadence and glamour, where some dreams were made and some shattered. We even pictured it coming back to life like in a scene from “The Phantom of the Opera”.

These past posts have been such treats for having you both girls featured in them <3 I love the light and the serene atmosphere of the pictures, I miss the sea and sadly I haven’t got the chance to see the casino “live”.
