Emerald City
Growing up, my favourite story used to be the Wizard of Oz. When I was very little I asked my grandparents to read it to me over and over again, and after I learned to read I found myself unable to let it go. One of the chapters that I loved most was the one in which Emerald City was described. I became fascinated with it and I created an extremely vivid mental image of that town. I could even see myself strolling down the streets, dressed in green from head to toe and wearing breathtaking emerald jewelry. So a few days ago, when I went to Parcul Circului (wearing a green dress, bag and ring) I realised I was almost living my childhood dream. The trees, the grass and the most beautiful water lily pond I’ve ever seen..all of these contributed to my little fantasy, making me feel al warm and fuzzy on the inside. Anyway, enough rambling, I will let you enjoyย the pictures.
I’m wearing a Vero Moda dress, vintage bag and ring, and RedHerring flats from Debenhams
Photos taken/edited by my boyfriend
P.S.: The yellow brick road in the first pic is obviously photoshopped ๐
P.S.2: As you are reading this we are on our way to Budapest, so don’t worry if we don’t answer your comments. We will be back soon, with lots of photos, hopefully ๐
