The Season of the Rose
It's the time that you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important… People have forgotten this truth, but you mustn't forget it. You become responsible forever for...
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a ‘New in’ type of article on the blog, but these items were too cute and were just demanding to to be photographed in a pretty setting. I didn’t buy many things while in New York and this is a great part of my favourites. I got ‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett from Barnes and Noble, in this wonderful edition, with golden edges and an intricate cover design. The icing on the cake is that it also has illustrations and I can’t believe how good the quality of the paper is! It’s definitely one of the most beautiful books I own. You can take a better look at it in the most recent video.
Now to the cosmetics: while in NYC, someone told me that I should definitely go to the Anthropologie store, so I added it to my list and I’m glad I did! It didn’t take long for it to become one of my favourite stores. I was most impressed by the beauty department, as it holds some super-amazing brands, some of which I had never heard before, but I was pleasantly surprised by. They all have that vintage vibe that makes them irresistible to me. I could hardly restrain myself from buying half the store. The prices aren’t that low either, so that was a factor, too :). In the end I got a lipstick from Albeit (isn’t the golden case just stunning?), the violet powder from Besame Cosmetics, a super retro-looking toothpaste from Apothic&co. and the Cleopatra perfume from Tocca.
Moreover, as January is my b-day month, I though I’d put together some sort of a wishlist / inspiration board of the things that have caught my attention lately: Praf de zâne/Cartea din nufăr/ Bershka top / Zara bag / Paradise Kiss Manga / Pull&Bear top / Record player / Oysho top
