How to find your “favourite” jeans

So, my dear space bunnies, today we are going to talk about jeans. Many women own a favourite pair of jeans that they can slip on at any time and feel great in. However, for the most part, finding those great fitting, good looking jeans is nothing but a matter of luck. If you still haven’t happened upon a pair of denims that seems to have been specially designed for your shape, then read on for the tips that could help you find your favourite women’s jeans and gain an essential wardrobe staple.

1.Choose dark colours for a slimming effect
If you want your legs to look slimmer then choose a dark coloured jean. Dark blue denim is a flattering shade on all figures and a classic cut jean in this hue will go with everything. If, on the other hand, you’d like to give your legs a little more shape than a block colour skinny jean could be just the ticket. Wear with heels to elongate your legs and create a more elegant line, or choose flats teamed with a floaty top to add a feminine twist.

2.Lengthen the leg with boot cut
Unless you’re lucky enough to have perfectly proportioned pins, your jeans should work to balance out your frame and give your legs a longer, slimmer appearance. Boot cut jeans are perfect for achieving just that. If you want to be able to take your boot cuts from day to night, choose a dark colour and team with your favourite heels for an evening out.

3.Support your wobbly bits
We’ve all got wobbly bits we’d rather cover up, but often the wrong choice when buying jeans can lead to muffin tops, VPLs and worse! If you’re not keen on your tummy then choose jeans in this season’s must have high-waisted style, which will offer more support to your tummy area. For an even more slimming effect, choose jeans with a side fastening zip so that the fabric runs smoothly and neatly over your stomach. To create the appearance of a pert bum, look for jeans with small back pockets that don’t come down further than the top of your thigh. If you want to make your bum look smaller then avoid low cut jeans, as these will cut you off at your widest area and make your rear look bigger.

:)) Please do, it’s not like I don’t have enough already, but it surely feels like it’s never enough, something new always gets me excited.

I just watched a little trailer and OMG, is it based on Emile Zola’s “Au Bonheur des Dames” novel? It is one of my favorite books ever <3

My biggest regret concerning jeans is that I have never found a flattering boyfriend pair. I love them so much on other girls, they look so relaxed and effortless, and yet I’m having trouble finding my pair. Maybe I just don’t know how to search 🙁

    Hugs,
    xx

Mine are from Lee Cooper and I’ve also worn a pair of my boyfriend’s. I’ve also seen some nice ones at H&M. That’s the thing with jeans, you have to try on many pairs before you find the perfect ones for you.

      Hugs!
