M is also for the Moon. Ever since I was little, I have been charmed by the moon and its ethereal aura. I would stare for minutes on end, imagining stories centered around it (or to be more precise..how life on the Moon would look like). I was possibly certainly influenced by Sailor Moon, but then again, weren’t we all? Coming back to the present day, I still feel an odd fascination towards the Moon and the symbolism behind it.
The full moon represents illumination and the unconscious made conscious. The crescent moon symbolizes new beginnings and the making of dreams into reality. Because of this cyclic nature the moon is also connected to rebirth and how our true essence really is immortal*. What I am certain of is that whenever I look up to the night sky and I see it I suddenly feel a dash of hope, like everything I wish for is suddenly possible.

Încă de mică am fost fascinată de Lună și de aura sa magică. Îmi amintesc că stăteam minute întregi să o privesc, imaginându-mi tot felul de povești a căror acțiune se petrecea acolo sus. Est foarte posibil ca totul să fi avut de-a face cu obsesia mea pentru Sailor Moon (sunt sigură că vă amintiți și voi de acest anime, eu și Eve eram super-fane). Revenind în prezent, încântarea pe care o simt de fiecare dată când privesc către Lună nu s-a diminuat. De fiecare dată când fac asta mă simt plină de speranță și cu senzația că visurile se pot împlini. De aceea am ales acest simbol ca imprimeu pentru unul din tricourile mele…îmi place să am Luna alături de mine și în timpul zilei :).

Man, Sailor Moon was the best! And I agree, the moon is pretty fantastic. Really anything space related. You can guarantee I will be the first one to sign up for some space exploration when the day comes! Also can we just talk about your belt please? I love the studs on it!
