The Curious Case of the Hot-Pink Gloves
A while back I had a dream of wandering around an unfamiliar city. The old architecture, the beautiful gardens and a huge, spectacular building that housed an impressive library are still vivid in my mind. Strangely enough I can clearly remember wearing a pair of long leather gloves. Odd how, you may ask? Let’s just say the weather did not accommodate such an accessory. Try and explain that meaning, apart from an obvious obsession towards extravagant accessories.
And so began my search for that perfect pair of leather gloves. It is a well known fact that leather gloves are timeless pieces. They have been around since forever and for many centuries they have been part of the costumes worn by royalty. However, I think that, in my case, the attraction towards leather gloves was fueled mostly by mystery novels and movies.
Anyway, when the planets finally aligned and I found the holy grail of leather gloves, the first reaction was to choose a pair in a bright shade of pink. Nothing adds a little light to the frightful days of autumn than a bold accessory integrated into your wardrobe. Wouldn’t you agree?
