Transylvania’s Eden Garden

Transylvania’s Eden Garden

I just adore discovering new and amazing places in Romania and the Brukenthal Palace in Avrig, near Sibiu is the most recent revelation. The garden is splendid with its explosion of flowers that enchant the senses and the park and buildings are surrounded by an aura of mystery. Unfortunately, it has not been entirely renovated, but I can imagine how beautiful it must have been in its days of glory, when it was known as Transylvania’s Garden of Eden. I cherish each and every minute I spent there…I would have loved to be able to move there for the rest of the summer. Or forever. Oh, and my reading recommendation is this book. No, I’m not holding it just as a prop :D.

I’ve heard so much about this magical place and I can’t believe I haven’t got the chance to visit it yet, despite it being so near πŸ™‚ I’m loving the effortless-chic look, the pictures are stunning.

    Hugs,
    xx
