A day in Brick Lane

A day in Brick Lane

Due to the fact that we stayed in London for almost two weeks, it was certain that we weren’t going to have sunny weather every single day. Unfortunately, the coldest, most rainy day was exactly on Sunday, when we planned to visit the markets. We initially wanted to go to Portobello, but we changed our minds and went to Brick Lane instead. We’re sure it would have been a beautiful experience, had it not been for the rain. However, we got the chance to visit the food market and a few vintage shops, as you will see.

Everything in the food market  was mouth-watering and smelled fantastic. We had so many options to choose from, and we finally decided on some Sri-Lanka goodies that turned out to be absolutely delicious.

Finally, drenched to the bone and exhausted, we found a great vintage shop that also had a small cafe and we managed to get back on our feet.

All in all, we definitely recommend visiting Brick Lane, but we think it would be a way more fulfilling experience on a sunny day. Thank God we had better weather when we went to Camden!
