Places to visit in Vienna: Prater
As we’ve mentioned before, we absolutely love amusement parks and therefore we just couldn’t miss the chance to visit Prater on our very first evening in Vienna. Prater is the oldest amusement park in the world and it’s been a dream of mine to visit it ever since I wrote my thesis. So yeah, another one checked off the wishlist :). Of course I couldn’t help myself and went on (I think) one of the craziest rides in the whole park, the Boomerang (you can see the my actual ride in the video and in the gif). Yes, I went alone because Eve chickened out, as usual. I would have tried all the rides, hadn’t they been quite expensive – fees are paid separately for each attraction. All in all, we definitely recommend going to Prater if you plan on visiting Vienna. It’s fun, fun, fun!
