The Season of the Rose
It's the time that you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important… People have forgotten this truth, but you mustn't forget it. You become responsible forever for...
Hope you enjoyed the photos and we leave you with a poem that perfectly conveys our feelings during these incredible spring days. Just replace “peonies” with “magnolia flowers” and you’ll find that it describes all the emotions we wanted to transmit through our photos.
If ever there were a spring day so perfect,
so uplifted by a warm intermittent breeze
that it made you want to throw
open all the windows in the house
and unlatch the door to the canary’s cage,
indeed, rip the little door from its jamb,
a day when the cool brick paths
and the garden bursting with peonies
seemed so etched in sunlight
that you felt like taking
a hammer to the glass paperweight
on the living room end table,
releasing the inhabitants
from their snow-covered cottage
so they could walk out,
holding hands and squinting
into this larger dome of blue and white,
well, today is just that kind of day.

WOW! your photos are breathtaking, like a real fairytale <3
Thank you so much! <3
Great pictures! Indeed, a spring fairy tale!!
Thank you so much! ^_^
Aaaaaaa!!! You finally made photos surrounded by flowers and they are absolutely stunning!! I love the magnolias, you both look so charming 😀
And here I am with two layers of clothes inside my house, listening to the cold wind outside. It’s just horrible 🙁
At least I can look at your photos and imagine what Spring can be, hahah :))
Thank youuu :*** . Ahh, is it really that bad there? 🙁 Sending warm hugs your way!
You have no idea how jealous I am on these photos! I’ve been looking everywhere for a blooming magnolia in Cluj and the only ones I see are in people’s gardens (and you can’t go up to them like hey might I take some photos in your yard thank you). Your photos are stunning, as usual. Love the floral dress and skirt 🙂
Haha, this one’s in a garden, as well, but fortunately it belongs to a relative.
Have you tried going to the Botanical Garden? We stumbled upon a magnolia in the Botanical Garden here in Bucharest, so maybe you’d have a chance there 🙂
Hugs!
