Minju Kim’s Collection — H&M Design Award 2013
Call us crazy, but these effervescent pieces by Minju Kim, the winner of H&M Design Award 2013, got us WAY more excited than the much-awaited Marant for H&M. It may be the lively colours, the splendid fabrics or the innovative silhouettes that made us feel all giddy. One thing is certain: we’d love to have it here, in Romania, but it’s highly unlikely. There are nine clothing items in this capsule collection and two accessories and they will be available in selected stores from October 17.

Minju graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and was selected by a jury that included Ann-Sofie Johansson (H&M head of design) and designer Jonathan Saunders, from among 8 young designers. And below you have a behind-the-scenes video of the collection shooting, featuring the cute and bubbly designer. Her radiant personality is definitely reflected in her ludic creations, that exude so much optimism and happiness. Check it out! We’d love to read your opinions about it.
