From the Avanpremiere Gala to the streets

From the Avanpremiere Gala to the streets

Gala Avanpremiere from runway to streets (2)

After attending the 10th Avanpremiere Gala (see the post here) we didn’t even imagine we’ll someday have the chance to actually try on some of the beautiful creations and style them in our own way. The opportunity came up by Alin Galatescu’s initiative, whose idea was to take three outfits from the runway and challenge us to make them wearable on a day-to day basis. You may have seen Silvia and Raluca’s post on Bucharest Style and now it’s time to share The Hearabouts’ vision. The first image in each dyptich represents the clothes as they were presented on the catwalk, and the second one is our idea of how to wear some of the items. We were inspired by fall/winter trends such as gothic, baroque and eastern opulence. Location: Maison 13 / Jewelry: Oxette / Photographer: Dan Andrei. Many many thanks to everyone involved in this project.

We hope you enjoyed this post and even though it’s quite different from what you usually get to see on our blog, we believe it was an interesting challenge and we’d like to get to do it more often. We would also LOVE to read your opinions!

I think this is absolutely amazing – great project, amazing execution. There are so many things I like abut the photos, clothes and styling I would need a separate article to write them all. Some of the Romanian designer are very talented: the A&S Negulescu pieces are badass! You girls look stunning by the way!
